5 things that hold me back my weight loss:
#1 Overdoing the fats on Keto.
Excess fat is going to store easier than excess carbohydrates
( 1 argument: Excess carbohydrates have long tail negative effects on your body that fats don’t.)
#2 Relying on exercise too much- Don’t rely on exercise, rely on the diet!
Every time I would over eat, I would just do a bunch of exercise to try to make up for it. It created this nature cycle almost this binge and purge type of mentality where I could over eat and then I would just go and just exercise.
#3 STRESS+EATING DON’T MIX
The big one show down the weight loss was the combination of stress but eating when under stress.
When under stress, the body is in a mode where it’s actually going to take what you’re eating and store it as fat.
11 hydroxysteroid dehydrogenase(11-羟基类固醇脱氢酶)converts inactive cortisone into active cortisol. We have a lot of this enzyme in our belly fat. We have 4 times as many cortisol receptors in our belly than we do anywhere else. Cortisol is combine with food, that’s when there’s a problem: Cortisol plus insulin equals almost immediately fat gain.
Recommendation: If you’re stressed out, just fast that day!
#4 Don’t fast all the time.
If your thyroid level go down,your T3 levels go down, your YHS level should go down or stay the same. That just means that you’re having a metabolic slowdown because you’re losing weight.
If your T3 is low, and your TSH is high, your have problem.
#5 Don’t Mix Fats and Carbs _ another big one
Acylation Stimulating Protein ASP(促酰化蛋白)ASP elevates when you consume fat, and it spikes your insulin just like cards do,which makes a lot easier for your body to store fat.
Glucose Dependent Insulinotropic Peptide GIP(葡萄糖依赖性胰岛素肽)This GIP is elevated when you consume fat. It enhances the fat storing power of insulin.
So, you consume fat, GIP elevate. Then you consume carbs, insulin elevates. GIP plus insulin equals a super powerful insulin tat’s going to allow the insulin to let much more fat into the cell.
